Forget Everything You Know About Recruitment!

Everyone is talking CX. 2019 is all about Candidate and Employee experience. Teams are reviewing their current processes and making tweaks to enhance the candidate journey.

But what if it’s all wrong? The process of recruitment has remained the same for 40 years, even with the amazing tools and tech we have at our fingertips. Does advertising work? Do we need a CV? Does behavioural interviewing fairly assess fit and capability?

Imagine peeling it all back and designing recruitment processes from scratch. Forgetting everything we know, and starting again. At Flybuys, they are doing just that!

Nicola Harrison, Director of Talent, will uncover how RMIT University hires the brightest minds and tackles diversity initiatives globally, so the lives of many can be changed (for good) forever.

Tricks Or Trust? Candidate Engagement In The Attention Economy

The current challenge of recruitment has moved from candidate discovery - can I find the person - to candidate engagement - how can I get this person to talk to me?

In this talk, Hung Lee will explore the two broad paradigms which employers are using to improve candidate rates, and why one is definitely better than the other.
